on "Savings Tips" from the Network bobbleheads... |
|
Someday (and I think we're approaching the edge here) a network correspondent will pull up to a bus stop to interview commuters about abandoning their cars for public transportation. . . . in a limo . . . with a camera crew. . .
and they will not be met by "chin-up, can-do, we can all get through this" optimists lining up to cheerfully get their mugs on TV.
They will laugh among themselves about how "we could all stand to eat a little less, or buy store brands" while decrying rising prices at the grocery store . . .
and their "Q-ratings" will plummet
There will be no more "man on the street" interviews.
