Dick Cheney Insults West Virginia noting he doesn't have to worry about being re-elected |

Racist is thinking your ilk more superior than others or the act of degrading those who aren't of your ilk. Yesterday Cheney's racist stereotype about West Virginians and "Cheneys on both sides" only goes to show how out of touch this administration is. The added "I am not running again so I can say this" just shows it's callous nature. Sure it was just a joke-- and I for one love to joke around but I think there is a big difference between a comedy club, a bar and a complete disregard of people's feelings by a so-called statesman. Yes, I would say the true colors of Cheney and his ilk are indeed coming out now.

3. Sounds like some crap I've read here |

Yep, it's true. Remember the West Virginia primary? Remember how many DUers were saying that West Virginians were "stupid", "Rednecks", "Racist", and other types of name calling such as that? And the same has been said about residents of other places as well. So let's all look in the mirror and stop name calling. We have to be better than Cheney.

4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone here is the vice president. |

Yes, anonymous people on the internet say just about anything you can imagine. So what?
There's a level of decorum you expect from a national politician-- especially one hailing from a party that does everything it can to label the opposition as "elitist". A party that just spent weeks trying to say that Obama's use of the word "bitter" meant he hates the working class.
Cheney and his ilk are the definition of elitist. His petty, oafish arrogance compels him to put it on display now that his scam is done and say, "what are you gonna do about it, suckers?".
