I thought it telling that Mrs. McCain said their divorce was more about John turning 40 and wanting to act 25 than anything else.

4. Left the Military Because of Injuries?

Like they couldn't and wouldn't have found him a desk job? He left the military because he knew he'd never get to the rank that his father and grand-father achieved. Crashing five planes is not promotion-favorable.

5. plus, his new wife was able to purchase him a seat in Congress.

but he does still collect full disability benefits.
