1. Imagine how fast that person would be killed
And his lab burned tot he ground.

Whatever happened to "for the good of the species"?

4. It may have already happened. How would we know?

In such a case, the Toady Media would make sure the story never saw the light of day.

Or maybe, to give them their customary "Plausible Deniability", they would run a story like this:

Terrorist Scientist Burns to Death in Lab Fire while Trying to Make Bomb.

Now, I haven't built his device yet, but I have seen some posts by people that claim to have figured out the missing links and recreated his process. Food for thought if nothing else.

Guess what happened to the inventor...

Stanley Meyer died at the age of 57 after eating at a restaurant on 21 March 1998. An autopsy report by Franklin County, Ohio coroner William R. Adrion concluded that Meyer, who suffered from high blood pressure, had died of a cerebral aneurysm.<6> Conspiracy theories persist, however, that he was poisoned, and that oil companies and the United States government were involved in his death.<7><8>. It is argued that this was done to suppress the technology, in spite of the fact complete plans remain available online<9>. To date, no one has used them to produce a working prototype.
