1. That still pisses me off that she had to be seriously pushed by her own supporters...
big time and she still didn't want to quit.... I just don't believe that.

2. I'll tell you if she actually concedes
ABC story said it would happen Friday, AP story says Tuesday.

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day...

9. It All Depends On What The Definition Of 'Concede' Is
And what the definition of 'Friday' is.

Etc.

3. I only wish they cared as much about the country
that they were willing to break necks to get their jobs done in Congress....

But 'impeachment is off the table' told me they cared about their party more than the country

10. I've given Harry credit many times when he has deserved it
and scoldings when he pissed me off.
I used to have him as my avatar at times

11. From a distance, it looked as if they knew from fairly early on that
Obama was running the stronger campaign and was winning the allegiance of a hell of a lot of key Democrats.

Pelosi and Reid have to rally all the troops, though, and had to navigate a difficult channel.

My thought is they did it very well.

I'd say A-plus for both.

12. Obama was just told she dropped out and said
"I haven't thought about it that much, I'm going on date with my wife this weekend."

15. Hi, Ichingcarpenter. LOL! That's quite a quotation. A date with his
wife sounds well, damned appropriate. Good for those two.

Good to see you. I'm still awfully pleased with that speech last night in Minnesota by our next president.

18. The battle for Helms Deep has been tough last night but
Gandalf:

Look to my coming on the first light of the fifth day, at dawn look to the east.

Now the battle for Middle Earth begins

I really don't know why I picked that metaphor but I think it fits
at least for me.

I was very pleased last night, I'm glad Obama spoke last also
because it ended the exciting night perfectly regardless of
the sourness that came before it.

19. He speaks and people listen to him.
That is a rare gift.

We're lucky to be alive to enjoy & appreciate it.

I bet McCain spent the day today swallowing whole bottles of laxatives. He got blown out of the water last night.

13. How much did they have a say in making Edwards "suspend" his campaign?
They both suck and especially Pelosi who took impeachment off the table! Shame on them both!

14. None.
Pelosi and Reid get no credit from me for anything whatsoever until they take complicity off the table and put protecting and defending the U.S. Constitution on the table.

As far as the primaries go, this is the wrong forum for that, but if they did have an influence, I don't appreciate that influence, either.

Find one thing to agree on, and build from there.
