How about an online poll and petition on the Hillary for VP question?
This is just a suggestion. Perhaps it's already being done and I just didn't find it.

I think we should establish a consensus on DU about whether or not Hillary Clinton should be nominated for Vice President, and then attempt to communicate the result to Barack Obama's campaign.

If it seems like a good idea, maybe one of the folks in charge will decide to implement it.

2. I vote no.

Meaning she should not be the VP candidate. Huge, huge, unforgivable mistake to make her VP. She is competent, and I like her, but Obama should not pick her as VP. The ticket would not work out.

4. From what I've read throughout today
I would say that 91% here DO NOT support Hillary Clinton running as the Vice President for Barack Obama. And I don't support her either. I know there were some polls a few weeks ago, when people were still trying to call this thing over, and there was a considerable majority against Clinton.

On another note, I would be surprised if Obama's campaign made a decision based on the poll results of the Democratic Underground. I would say that he's been playing around with different possibilities for a while now, and most likely he's in a "Final 3" stage sort of.

8. check Hillary's website..
I heard Lannie Davis had a petition going around. Of course, that has nothing to do, and will have no influence with the Obama campaign.

9. Might I suggest that we let Senator Obama and his team of wise advisors
take their time exploring all of the various options knowing that there's a pretty good chance that they know - or will know after their explorations, who would be the best VP candidate. If the breathtaking way Senator Obama ran his campaign is any indication of the way he will run this next part of the process, I'm certain that they will make an excellent (and very well thought out) decision.

But can't we all just let Senator OBama, his family and his staff have some time to rest, recharge and say HOLY SHIT WE DID IT and bask in the joy for a few days? !!!

13. Why don't you do a poll on whether or not we should have a poll on the question?
What do DUers think: should we have a poll on whether or not we should have a poll on the question?
