Went to church and heard Rev Al Sharpton preach tonight
He was awesome.

He talked about David and Goliath and said he was David and George Bush was Goliath. He told about being invited to the White House for lunch and he thought about the story in the bible where God talks about breaking bread with your enemy.

Of course he brought up Obama and the crowd just went wild. That was really neat. Then he said he thought it was interesting that "they looked and looked and couldn't find any WMDs but they had no problem finding a tape of Obama's preacher". LOL

Loved it!!

4. that's cool!
I sat behind him in a diner last year. He was out to breakfast with two of James Brown's daughters. He ordered Turkey Bacon, to go with his new diet. I tried listening in, but all I really heard was discussion of the James Brown memorial event they would be attending at the Apollo later that night, and him making fun of gossip columnist Cindy Adams.
Fascinating, I know :)

8. Could you envision the exalted Reverend Al Sharpton as Press Secretary?
I could. I believe the late, great Pierre Salinger would agree.
