some of the most powerful storms in my memory. woke me up in fact. Anyone else being rocked and rolled from torrential storms and thundering lightning?

5. We get CAPE readings in the 4000 joules/kg range sometimes
and that's the time to be in the basement-- away from things that conduct electricity.

That means there is enough energy in a parcel of air a bit bigger than a living room to defibrillate 10 fat men.

Be careful man. Nature has a nasty hook and kicks to the the cods. And I say that as a nature worshipper.
