Bush History for Thursday 6/5/08 (If Bush had Paid Attention to History... )
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 08:52 AM by BlueButGlad2
Today, a look at the summer of 1920 in British occupied Iraq. History does indeed repeat itself. As the Brits told the Iraqis back then, "our armies do not come into your cities and lands as conquerors or enemies, but as liberators". Sounds familiar, as are the consequences ...

Why do you think we hate him so (f'ing) much? If he'd so much as cracked a history book he would understand how completely (screwed) this entire occupation was bound to be.

It's like watching someone repeatedly stab themself with a safety pin. Except for, well, our mothers/fathers/daughters/sons/friends are the ones actually DYING over there.

I found out two days ago that Brandi, a beautiful girl I was close friends with in high school, is going to get shipped to Iraq in January. Worse yet she was apparently voluntold to major in Driving, which means she'll probably spent an inordinate amount of time cruising the streets of Sadr City. I just hope Bush doesn't make it his personal mission to see everybody killed before he leaves office.

EDIT : F YOU, BUSH. F YOUR STUPID Fing WAR AND F YOUR ANTIPATHY TO THE PAIN AND SUFFERING YOU'VE PERSONALLY CAUSED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE. YOU'RE A PIECE OF (crap). YOU'RE HITLER WITH BUMPER STICKERS AND I HOPE YOU GET PARASITES IN YOUR WEINER AND DIE FROM THROAT HERPES.

Zionist Brits also tried Israel/Palestine, and once enough UK soldiers got killed we got the fuck out of there and left it to the Yanks.

We can always rely on your idiot leaders to mop up our messes :)

One of the best links I found in reddit so far, I wish there was a way to force such diggs to be on top for some time, maybe some officials would read, and save us from repeating historical mistakes...

History? I'd be happy if he paid attention to current events.

Bush attended Yale University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in history in 1968
That's where he learned senile warmongers don't go to jail, and could get away with anything by playing imbecile.

yeah have read this all before...great to see it unearthed again. i suggest that everyone read Robert Fisk's book 'The Great War for Civilisation: The Conquest of the Middle East' - long and depressing and very much from the view of someone on the ground who calls it like he sees it (no one is spared from criticism)...

This is one of the few submissions I wish I could upvote twice. So I did.
