Former Software Sales Manager Named County Elections Administrator
by Bob Dunn1 day 5 hrs ago | 299 views | 3 | 0 | |

A former software company sales manager will become Fort Bend County's new elections administrator, replacing J.R. Perez, who abruptly resigned in March.

John Oldham began working at the post as the county's "designee" on Monday, according to a statement from County Judge Bob Hebert's office. He will officially become elections administrator on July 2.

Oldham was regional sales manager, account manager and Illinois state manager for Election Systems & Software of Omaha, Neb.

3. Fock. I hate when good people get fed up and leave when they are most needed.

It seems to happen too often, and a good example of that is the military heads who leave out of disagreement instead of staying and being watchful eyes and ears for those in DC who will listen and pass on their warnings, like after Tora Bora when some brass passed word to Kerry what really happened there, while the Defense Dept was lying their asses off for Rumsfeld and Bush and Franks.
