Sent me an article by Ken Blackwell, NY Sun with the most outlandish lies and distortions re Obama. I lost it. I told her she needed to check her sources and stop forwarding rovian/limpbaugh tripe. I noticed others on her address list and of course, all RWers. Really nice gal, but unless you actually know someones politics I think it's rude and very assuming.

She'll probably e-mail me back and apologize but I was quite firm without being nasty. I refuse to put up with this crap and if it costs a friendship, so be it. If she really is a friend she'll know she stepped over the line and it's not acceptable. Another sent me a "Memorial at Arlington" vid with music, etc. Very nice. I thanked her but added it was sad these poor souls died for a lie. Haven't heard back from her either. Oh well!!

1. My husband used to get that kind of crap

from an old highschool (female) friend, as well. Finally, he just started sending her back stuff like that "He's an Asshole" YouTube about George Bush, and those kinds of e-mails stopped. She still sends him stupid jokes, but at least we don't have to look at the RW drivel.

He should be wearing an orange jumpsuit. He ran for governor and, as secretary of state, tried to get his opponent disqualified from running against him so he'd win by default. Bastard. The really sick thing about this email is that it implies that somehow his opinion matters more because he's black. Bullcrap. He's a black ultraconservative Republican and he belongs in prison as an election thief.
