My company held a Darfur awareness lunch this afternoon. I knew what was going on but to hear a survivor of the Genocide was enlightning. You see things on the news but its tough to make an actual connection until you meet someone who has experience the horrors over there first hand. Hearing how Rice and Bush have not helped those people enough made me even madder than I was before. I didn't think that was possible till today.

Every time I think I've hit the limits of outrage, something happens to prove me wrong.

I hope Obama doesn't plan on sending troops there? We are trying to get the troops home not move them around like pieces on a chess board.

However I do support putting extensive pressure on the Chinese to back down in their support.
A threat of boycotting the olympics if they don't allow a UN security resolution would go a long way.
I also believe we need to have more support for the 2,000,000 people who are displaced in Chad.
