I was an Edwards supporter until he suspended his campaign. I came to Obama after that.

2. Kerry and Gore only got 88% or so of Dems. This is common. Dems get 8% of GOP |

as a matter of course also so it all works out (we have a 41% to 27% registration advantage this year)
