In fact Marble playing is universal throughout America....at least it was at some time in our past...like yoyos and tops...

So the question comes to mind....what kind of method did Bush use when he was a kid??? Was it the Gurly Mon way?? like pinching the damn marble??....I bet he did it like a loser....couldn't hit a marble target at 3 feet with 10 attempts....

Would McCain know how to shoot them marbles?? Obama? This is Important. In the Realm of Marbleology, if ya can shoot marbles accurately, it showed good charactor...judgement, planning, etc.....ask any marble champs in your neck of the woods.

A Kids Game but can be used as a tool to gauge peeps....just saying on the Marble Level....

and did Bush ever play TOPs....as in Fighting Tops?

oh never mid.....

Come, we bend down play for keeps...ante up 20 marbles in the middle......of the ring.....

Teachers claimed it was gambling. The sun baked Texas school yard was made for marbles.

Man, we'd go to jail for playing Mumbly Peg at school today!!! One of our other passions.

7. I haven't seen any kids playing marbles, tops or jacks
since about 1965. Man we had fun. And speaking of fighting tops the best throw I ever saw - this kid tossed his top in the ring were others were spinning. He hit one dead center which split that top into 4 pieces. His top then spun in the midsts of the pieces.

How about 4 square and double dutch hot pepper rope jumping. It's no wonder that we were all so skinny back then. Constant motion.

8. Its such a shame those games are by the sidelines these days....
We used to take turns leaving our tops as targets for the opponents to try any demolish by splitting them...We took out the original points and inserted sharpened nails with a 1 1/2" length....damn it was fun...
