Is it safe to say Kucinich has just taken unite the party off Obamas' To Do List? |
|
Yes or No?
We appear to be universally united on Impeachment. But I wnt to hear it from every individual.

9. Last time I checked Senator Feingold was not in favor of impeachment. |
|
I wonder, does that make him a DINO? No, not everybody is in favor of impeachment now. It's popular at DU, but I don't think DU is reflective of the real world.

12. Feingold was trying to get a censure resolution through. |
|
He has publicly acknowledged that the Administration has committed impeachable offenses. However he thought, along with many others, that an impeachment attempt would fall on its face and censure was the best he could get.

2. Its a popular opinion in the blogosphere. |
|
But something I doubt very many people are talking about outside of that context.

4. No. Obama is running for elective office... |
|
The majority of Americans do not support impeachment. Obama wants to be elected, so what Kucinich is doing right now isn't "helping" Obama, and I really doubt that Kucinich called Obama, a junior senator, to solicit his permission to do what he's doing right now.
I am loving what Kucinich is doing right now. I doubt Obama is, though.

5. I think you're wrong .. that's why Obama is getting out of the Senate |
|
because he DOES still care about the TRUTH, not just about his own power or re-election. TOO MANY in D.C. are seduced by the power and forget why they're there; I don't think Obama is one of them ... YET ... and that's why he's running for president, to DO SOMETHING, not just pad his own bank account.

6. How do we know this meme is true? If we keep repeating that enough it will be even if it's not. |
|
I think America does support it. I think Impeachment will pick up momentum quicker than Obama did.

16. Have you seen the board lately? It looks like unity to me. |
|
The democratic party is very diverse. Your never gonna find us drinking kool aid while we read the talking points before we march in lock step. It appears that a few, very few, want to give that a try. But It's never gonna happen. I really think what were seeing now is the closest the democratic party will ever come to universal unity or even plain unity. The only thing we really unite under is the democratic banner.......and this impeachment. The unity I'm seeing here now is amazing to me. Even in this unity our diversity is still present. Everyone has different ideas about what makes this Impeachment so great.

You can't transfer something from yourself to yourself.

|
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 02:19 AM by fujiyama
This is a waste of time at this point. It seems like meaningless posturing.
And it's not really going to effectively add to the number of House and Senate seats we take...or get extra states in Obama's column, come November.

Go ahead and be a lil Hitler. Conmmit war crimes and crimes against humanity until your cold black evil heart is content. Just as long we win the next election. :puke: Talk about selling your soul. This is about Justice. Nothing more and nothing less.

19. Impeachment won't necessarily even mean he'd be prosecuted |
|
It just means he would be impeached by the House. And even that won't happen, let alone this going to the Senate and them voting to remove Bush from office. Only after that, would there be a chance to prosecute him for his crimes. Assuming he'd be removed, Cheney would become president - his first act being to pardon Bush for all crimes.
I'd rather focusing on preventing the same crimes from taking place for another 4-8 years. I didn't know that was selling my soul. And plus, if we win in November, we can investigate the crimes that have taken plus during these last 8 years - and prevent these motherfuckers from receiving federal pardons.
Lil Hitler? LOL..I won't dignify a response to such nonsense.
