of the articles of Impeachment read on the House floor last night. Amazing. Not even C-Span listeners have brought it up.

2. Frankly, I'm much more concerned with the economic inequities and |
|
the economic disaster we're embroiled in than impeachment. I think what Bernie is fighting for right now is of greater importance than impeachment. As Bernie is repeatedly saying this morning, the middle class is collapsing, the working class is collapsing.

3. I'm more concerned about precident |

If this administration has zero accountability, what can we expect with future administrations? We are a country where the Rule of Law is Supreme. At this late date, I don't expect for removal from office to actually occur, (after all, Impeachment is but the first step, there still would have to be a Senate Trial on the charges, overseen by Chief Justice Roberts).....
More importantly, the fact that these articles have been read into the record is paving the way for future criminal prosecution.
Why is the middle class collapsing? I think the emptying of the Treasury and increase of the national debt might have a lot to do with this, which is directly a result from this criminal administration.
No one in America is Above The Law. Not even President Cheney and his puppet Bush.

5. nice that you have the luxury to be more concerned about precedent |
|
than survivial. Impeachment can still be conducted after bush leaves office. Criminal prosecution is possible after bush leaves office. I have no problem with Dennis introducing articles for the record, but I don't want to see Congress enmeshed in impeachment proceedings at the expense of real people.

11. Bernie Sanders was talking about the energy bill. |
|
Why should he talk about Dennis Kucinich's articles of impeachment? That might make you feel good, but it's irrelevant to what's really going on.

7. Breakfast With Bernie... |
|
What a contrast to that asshat Mica...Bernie is always a pleasure to see/hear.
His discriptions of the market manipulation are spot on...and you still hear the wingnuts all but sticking to a party line they have been conditioned to parrot with little idea of how bad they're getting screwed. I doubt many of these asshats have Exxon-Mobil stocks or are rich enough to play the speculation game, but they sure want their oil.
I just got back from riding through farm country the other day...and saw a lot of flooded fields...adding to an already difficult and expensive growing season. This fall could be a very rough time for millions...I hope I'm wrong.

Did he mention it yet? How can the other liberals even ignore it?

An impeachment in the House without a conviction in the Senate not just keeps this regime in power, but vindicates it. Those hellbent on impeachment keep the blinders on that the reality says this won't happen. Plus there's so much criminality in this regime we haven't discovered yet...hidden behind "executive privildge" and other tactics. Any indictment against someone in this regime will be quickly met with a pardon.
A question I have for those who think impeachment will change things...get the troops out of Iraq now or lower oil prices or help those suffering with credit problems or health problems or facing huge tuition increases this fall. Ya know, real life stuff. Let's pretend the impeachment wand happens and both booosh and cheney are gone tomorrow. Then what? Who takes over? What about the other criminals still in the government? And this doesn't even take into consideration the pounding Democrats will get from the corporate media...
Liberals aren't "ignoring" it...if anything I see some very diligent ones working on building up real, criminal cases against this regime. Some of us want real justice, not just a political show trial.

13. No, for Bernie it's all about the millions and millions of people who are |
|
struggling just to get by in this economy. That's always what it's been about for Bernie. And he's not even a dem and he hasn't endorsed.
