The Bush adminstration continues to fight against centuries old principals of justice, locking up people indefinitely, without charges, and without the chance to present evidence of innocence. Under court order to allow hearings of innocence, government officials undermine the process by 'not finding' requested witnesses that might help detainees. Yet, a newspaper found some of these same people with little effort.
Locked in a never ending purgatory with no trials, no charges, and no hope, three Gitmo prisoners manage to kill themselves on this date.
Also today, Bush misdeeds (LETTING DOWN THE TROOPS, AGAIN) are currently in the news.
