The next president's attorney general will have a daunting task. Who might |

be up to it in your opinion?

John Edwards is too good to waste on just one state. He has said openly that he does not want the VP slot; I think it's because he knows that he belongs in the AG slot.
And yes, he'll have his work cut out for him, but I can't think of a better candidate.

other names to consider? What if Edwards said 'no', or wasn't asked for whatever reason.

4. HELLO! Invite the enemy in. I don't think so. |

This is the Republican prosecutor who did not indict Karl Rove, Dick Cheney or George Bush!
Looks like the set up a fall back and a pardon from the onset, and are still covering up the evidence.

10. No, he's independent AFAIK. Non-political is how he termed himself, |
|
which is a good trait. And if he had the goods, I'm sure people would have been indicted. The Plame investigation was narrow in scope, not about * or Cheney. I wish someone had the cojones to hand him that task.

9. How's this? Make Edwards AG, and appoint Hillary as |
|
special counsel in charge of investigating Bush/Cheney/Cohorts.
