6 days. Since I last sat and worked at my drumstick dance and stomp.

How the world has changed since then, and times many hundreds, how it has changed since I last scribbled parody to paper. I beg your indulgent forgiveness here, for the world has come at me so quickly that I hardly know where to react, nor do I know how.

So I say nothing until The Muse comes at me with a razor, demanding to be heard. Instead I play. To the winds, to the rage at what has become of the world, to the joy of simply Knowing I Can. I will toot my own horn here only because it ain't bullshit. DU, my beloved DU amd all who sail on her, I can drum like no other fucking body on this earth. Cause it's me dancing. And stomping like Godzilla on shore leave in Tokyo.

And dance I must. Now. For lala and Dennis saying her name. For my truthseeker comrades in rage that I adore, one and all. For the Loungers who have taken me in their embrace in the past few months. For Senator Obama and his candidacy, and his vision for what America can again be. Or can at last be.
