OF COURSE McCain has the support of a chunk of HRC "supporters." |

Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 05:42 PM by pnwmom
These are the Rethugs who voted for HRC in an effort to throw a monkey wrench into our system (some of them voted for Obama as well). They knew their votes wouldn't matter since McCain already had the nomination wrapped up, so they followed Limbaugh's advice to play in our sandbox.
I realize that there are genuine HRC supporters who are feeling deeply disapointed now -- with good reason -- but I think most of the loud ones, the "I'm going to vote for McCain" ones, were Republicans all along.

ala Operation Chaos - I think they measured 7 percent in one of the primaries - Indiana?
Sorry no link.
Probably getting paid for their efforts in some way.

8. Ironic. A man who claims to say society is going down the toilet helps taking the dump. |

6. I think there are a lot who claim they supported her, but didn't |

especially on thoe message boards.
Anonymity allows people to claim anything. I can claim that I was in special forces, saved the President of Nigeria from drowning, that I can manufacture pink unicorns with a wave of my hand and there's no person there when I make my post to challenge it.
I put nothing past the republikkans. They know the media will report that on www.ihatealldemsandanythingleftofgenghiskhan. blah there are 277000 Democrats who supported HRC that said they are voting for mcbush.
There's no vetting of the who these posters are Why they are saying these things What they're angry about
They just report it over-and-over until it becomes a "fact" -- not necessarily a true one, but a 'fact'

I think Limpballs is given waaaayyyy too much credit for operation chaos - although it would be interesting to know how many actually did cross over to muddy up the waters. I think the majority of people who did cross over actually wanted to vote for someone other than McCain. My dad is one of these people. He's a registered Republican in Indiana and crossed over in the primary to vote for BO and he is also planning on voting for BO in the general.
I do, however totally agree with you last statement.
Cheers.
