Call McCain's Econ Attacks For What They Are - Defending Bush
Where's John I-Am-Bush's-Biggest-Critic McCain? The MSM, of course, is too busy sucking up to McCain, but these attacks on Obama's economic proposals are nothing more than John McCain doing the Bush cheerleader routine with respect to the policies that have lead us to our current downturn.

1. Tax cuts? Yeah, how is that working out for most Americans, since median household net worth has declined during the Bush years.

2. Deregulation? Yup, that worked out well for the mortgage industry. Indeed, deregulations worked out real well during the last mortgage crisis with McCain the center of the Keating scandal.

The media really needs to challenge McCain as to what is different between his economic proposals and those of Bush, and is McCain going to argue that Americans are better off? Depending on his mood, McCain will sometimes argue that Americans are not better off, until he changes his mind.

If Americans are not better off, isn't the GOP responsible? If the GOP is responsible, why should we elect McCain?

It is mind-numbing the lack of scrutiny given to John McCain.
