Waverly, IA flood pics (dial-up warning!)

I took these this morning. What an awful, awful thing for those affected. Luckily, we weren't. All three bridges in town are closed. The only place we can get to for anything is the east side Kwik Star. At least they had the forethought to put one up on this side of the bridge. Probably won't be able to make Dr. appts tomorrow if the bridge is still closed. And, I kinda think it will be. It just keeps on coming! Had a nifty hail storm last night - out of the blue!

2. Wow! I drive through there many times on my way home.

I've never seen the Cedar that flooded before. I bet the Wapsie flooded hwy 3 down there too. But thank god they saved the east Kwik Star! One of my favorite convenience stores. Gotta have those brownies! mmmmmmmmmmmm
