If One Death? - Why The Plame Case Is Important & Why Bush/Cheney Should Be Tried For Treason
Why the Plame case is important…
Posted by kayinmaine on February 11, 2007

Check out the 2nd picture I posted in this post I did back in February of last year:

http://whitenoiseinsanity.word.....important/

Notice how in 2003 there is one highly classified CIA agent who was killed that year which is represented by a star instead of a name? Was this person part of Brewster Jennings? I think so. We’ll never know at this point because this person’s name will never be released because he/she was a highly classified CIA agent, hence, a star indicating his or her death.

If one death came as a result of Plame and her employer’s identity being outed, then George Bush & Dick Cheney should be hanged for treason against our country because they outed a CIA agent and her classified front company (who was working in Iran) DURING A TIME OF WAR out of spite.

......................

BREWSTER JENNINGS WAS DOING IMPORTANT WORK FOR OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE THE INDIVIDUALS WORKING FOR IT WERE SPYING ON IRAN TO KEEP TABS ON THE COUNTRY’S NUCLEAR AMBITIONS. Since that time, the Bush Regime has pretty much guessed as to what Iran is doing. They’re now on a campaign similar to the drum up to the Iraq invasion by telling us they have “facts” behind their reasoning that Iran is a threat to us and who will “speak” to us in the form of a mushroom cloud.

.......

It’s treasonous and traitorous to me that ANY White House in the history of our nation would actively expose a CIA agent’s identity out of revenge during a time of war. If we had a mature White House in 2003, they would have come out with their evidence that Joe Wilson was lying when he wrote his article. But they didn’t. The White House had lied to Americans and they decided to “shoot” the messenger who exposed their lies rather than take responsibility for it.

3. Doing something that's bad for the country
isn't treason.

I really wish folks would stop throwing the word around. It's just hyperbolic.

4. Maybe so, but after so many wild accusations of "treason" made by the Republicans,
a little turnabout feels good. As I've said to people before, nobody hates America more than Bush and Cheney.

Bingo. "Their" America consists of the Halliburton and Enron execs. The millions of citizens simply aren't part of "their" America. They despise us. They even despise those to whom they so blatantly pander.

11. It's treason.

It falls under the definition of "providing aid and comfort to the enemy".

Exposing the name of an undercover CIA agent, working to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons, is "providing aid and comfort to the enemy".

GEORGE H.W. BUSH: “I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.”

Since George H.W. Bush was once the Director of the CIA, this quote should be good enough for you.

May George H. W. Bush rot in hell for how he sold out the clandestine services early in his term...

9. I think those ones are on Ames' conscience
I think that's when Aldrich Ames was spilling his secrets to the Russians. So, they're on his conscience, not Poppy Bush's.

Bush KNEW about operation Condor

he KNEW they were going to kill Letelier, RIGHT in DC!!!!!

who else but Robert Parry knows the truth. he tried to report it to Newsweek, for whom he worked at the time, but....

In 1988, as then-Vice President Bush was citing his CIA work as an important part of his government experience, I submitted questions to him asking about his actions in the days before and after the Letelier bombing. Bush’s chief of staff, Craig Fuller, wrote back, saying Bush “will have no comment on the specific issues raised in your letter.”

As it turned out, the Bush campaign had little to fear from my discoveries. When I submitted my story draft – with its exclusive account of Contreras’s role as a CIA asset – Newsweek’s editors refused to run the story. Washington bureau chief Evan Thomas told me that Editor Maynard Parker even had accused me of being “out to get Bush.”

8. How many of her contacts were killed, too?
Not only did their actions probably kill at least one highly-trained CIA operative, but they most likely got several of Ms. Plame's contacts in other countries killed, too. For example, she goes to a nuclear industry conference as a representative of Brewster Jennings. She chats up an Iranian scientist, who gives her some little tidbit of info on Iran's nuclear program. The Iranian scientist dutifully reports his contact with the nice blonde lady at the conference. Then, it comes out that the nice, blonde lady from Brewster Jennings was really a CIA agent. How long do you think that Iranian scientist is going to live after that? How many more people in hostile countries will be willing to talk to Americans from the private sector after that?

Thank you kpete and seemslikeadream. Every time people start talking about how it's too late to impeach, the timing is wrong, it's "political suicide" and will make the Democratic party look bad for trying to do the right thing, I just want to scream.

13. "out of spite"
There was spite involved but it goes way beyond that. The reasons for outing Plame were many & they were acts of Treason.
