The bad news is.....
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 09:16 PM by Cleita
Dennis Kucinich's impeachment resolution will be referred to the Judiciary Committee where it will disappear like the impeachment resolution against Cheney. What do we do to make the Judiciary Committee feel uncomfortable or even downright unpleasant about this before even attempting to box it and sweep it under the rug? There's gotta be a way folks!

Yes, we are doing what we can now, annoying our Congressmen and Senators, but they are going to try to wait us out and by ignoring us run out the clock? So what is our second move and then our third and our fourth and so on until we get their undivided attention?

1. show up at their doors??
like Code Pink here in SF. It doesn't work well, I'll tell you that. Pelosi totally ignores them and a lot of people think that they're wackos. I love their tenacity but not all of their tactics.

Call them everyday I guess. Don't vote for them. Keep blogging and making sure that you tell people about all of this. If they're too worried abot other things (i.e. the economy), talk to them and let them know how Iraq directly impacts their lives. The only thing that will get these people's attentions is more of us complaining.

2. Revolution doesn't come with a warning, and it never sends you an omen.
I think that's the way the tune goes.

4. don't donate to any campaign
that will not support impeachment, and let whomever it is know that is the reason why. And send Dennis a donation, I am. We have so little power, except the power of our dollar.
