In the last 24 hours, a quick search of Yahoo News, shows the following number of articles for both Obama and McCain.
News Stories for "obama"(Results 1 - 10 of about 2,049)
News Stories for "McCain"(Results 1 - 10 of about 1,583)
Almost 500 more articles on Obama in the press than McCain and that's probably a bit higher, since McCain is a far more common surname than Obama.
So using their full names, I get this:
News Stories for "John McCain"(Results 1 - 10 of about 1,450)
News Stories for "Barack Obama"(Results 1 - 10 of about 1,848)
Or nearly 400 more stories for Obama than McCain with their full name and almost 500 more stories for Obama than McCain with just their last names.

Remember in 2000 when Al Gore kinda had to take a break from campaigning because of lack of funds? I want that to happen to McCain. It'd be great if in August McCain wasn't doing nearly as much campaigning because he lacked the money needed to fry to all these swing states.
A media blackout would be nice.
