most bills live this life. this bill is no different.

yes we have the wonder and excitement of having this bill read into the congressional record. yay! us!

and then it is going to be shoved into a corner with the million of other bills that are read into the congressional record and it will never be heard from again.

y'all gets how congress works, right?

dennis is like 0 for "whatever" in the bills he has proposed over the years. emphasis on the zero.

enjoy, saulte and god bless over getting this read into the congressional record. whatever that means. i'm not sure. but. the point is, charge this thing into a committee, put it up for a vote right now, whatever...

the congress of the united states of america has a process for dealing with bills.

and it is not a process you are going to be happy with.

3. This is from Nov 2007
This week, Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich brought a privileged resolution to the House floor that would have impeached Cheney. Republicans foiled an attempt by Democratic Majority Leader Steny Hoyer to kill the motion, and the bill was referred to the Judiciary Committee. Wasserman Schultz voted for Hoyer's motion to table the impeachment bill, and she was defending that vote on Schultz's show Thursday.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said Conyer's committee would not begin impeachment hearings, although several members of the committee are co-sponsors of Kucinich's impeachment resolution. Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL), who's district neighbors Wasserman Schultz's, called for the committee to "schedule impeachment hearings immediately".

5. Wow. I did not know that. Good think you explained it to me. (I type facetiously.)

Kucinich did what was right. That means something.

His 35 articles are not just in the Congressional Record. They are in the World Brain. Laid out precisely and accurately for all to google for the rest of Internet eternity. For college students and history researchers alike. And it will be known what this presidency did. And it will be known what Americans and Congress did in response. Just like from here into eternity, humans will search and find the story of how the U.S. covered up the reproduction of Picasso's 'Guernica' in the U.N., so they could have their war press conferences and speeches in the lead-up to the Iraq invasion without being reminded of the horrors of the bombing of civilians.

The truth matters.

ON EDIT: I was brought up on Schoolhouse Rock. I've seen "I'm Just A Bill."

"Dennis is like 0 for zero." Give me a break.

no.

dennis is 0 for whatever. dude has never had a bill he introduced in congress that has been enacted into law. that's just a fact. and this bill will go nowhere either. that's just how congress works. i'm not saying its right, i'm not saying it wrong. that's just how it is...

12. Well,
"Kucinich sponsored 106 bills since Jan 7, 1997, of which 94 (89%) haven't made it out of committee and 2 were successfully enacted."

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/presidential.xpd

And given that he's the most progressive congressperson in a fascist government, it's no surprise that he's only had two enacted.
