Bob loves (Bob Dylan endorses Barack Obama)

I really loved finding this. Dylan is so ahead of his time.

When asked for his take on the U.S. election in an interview with the London Times, musician Bob Dylan described the Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, as “redefining the nature of politics from the ground up.”

Dylan, no stranger to witnessing impoverished communities throughout the states, commented on an issue that Mr. Obama has promised to tackle if elected; poverty.

“Right now America is in a state of upheaval,” Dylan said. “...you can't expect people to have the virtue of purity when they are poor.”

1. Dylan is so ahead of his time?
So what does that makes all the other Obama supporters? Behind the times?

7. Well that's not very nice then ...
all those people who have supported Obama, saying their support is passé.

What would Zimmerman say?

3. It's a first
Dylan has never endorsed a candidate before. One of the reason why He and Baez broke apart was because she wanted him to be more of a political activist, and he did not want to do so.

4. What do you think of his quote...

“...you can't expect people to have the virtue of purity when they are poor.”

Is that true?

9. Actually, the break up had more to do with Dylan's
horrendous womanizing and then having met his wife Sara, whom he also cheated on with abandon. He has basically admitted that all the women in his life ended up leaving him for pretty much the same reason.

But, I love him anyway. Scoundrel.
