I spotted one of 'em today on I-80 (W '04)
Edited on Wed Jun-11-08 06:42 PM by TomInTib
A guy was driving a silver Mercedes SUV with a "W '04" bumpersticker on the right rear bumper. About twenty miles north of Sacramento.

I pointed it out to a friend in the car with me and spent the next ten miles or so, cruising at 80mph, following the guy. All the while trying to think of a way to respond.

Make some smart-ass sign and hold it up while cruising alongside?

Wheel up, honk, and flip the guy off?

Maybe clip his left-side mirror with my right-side mirror? I actually gave this option a good bit of thought, our car being the same size and color. But there were too many other cars on the road to play the games that a much younger TomInTib would have played.

I finally just passed him while feeling a tad sad for his sorry ass.

What in the hell are these people thinking?

1. Saw an Obama '08 sticker in my little redneck Freeper town the other day
An older guy in a van.

First I've seen here.
Am about 40 miles south of the Freeperville, CA (Fresno)

Still see Bush/Cheney '04 stickers on cars here...idjits!

4. I still have my "Defend America, Defeat Bush" sticker from 2004.
I guess I will have to cover it up soon for Obama (I don't do multiple bumper stickers, just one at a time).

5. I saw an interesting pairing
First sticker: "GOT HOPE?"

Second sticker, "VOTE DEMOCRATIC!"

Honorable mention goes to a car with disabled vet tags, "Stupid isn't a disability! Park somewhere else!"

6. Haven't seen much 08 stuff yet
None for McLame.
People a few blocks west of me have duelling Hillary/Obama yard signs.
One co-worker (don't know who) has a Hillary bumper sticker on his/her pickup.
There was a car down the street with one of those "W the President" (gag, gag, puke, puke) stickers on the back window.
Haven't seen the car recently, the house is for sale and Mr 'pede has it from the across the street neighbor guy that the wife tossed him out.

Now, get the hell back inside the red lines before you get cited

for attempted sedition. That wacko bay area mentality must be kept under strict quarantine.

And drop me a PM if you ever think about it.

Drink half a case of beer a day

Figure out how to get me and my sailboat out there

and we'll get her floating again

9. My daughter and I were at a Mcd (it was the only place we could afford where
we were!) sitting inside and commenting on how many people still use the drive-thru. A huge pickup truck (with just the driver and no work gear in the rear) was pulling out and my daughter said "Look...and that's an 8 cylinder." He pulled away and guess what we saw?....W'04.

10. We've got a real loser in our town...
Put up a McCain '08 sticker right next to his old Bush/Cheney '04 sticker. I just laugh like crazy when I see him. It confuses the hell out of him.
