I don't get it: We field all these MOST Liberal candidates & they're not good enough & |

(First, I was fazed out by not having GDP/GD screens appearing)
Despite all the criticism (HERE), our Dem candidates have consistently been labeled as the MOST LIBERAL.
Yet, they have been considered (HERE) as NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
I just question, WHY do any rinkadink Rethugs get past whatever the screening is, and THEY swoop right in to the OFFICE?!1
(O.K., I'm in a good mood, so anybody out there who DOESN'T KNOW what I'm talking about, PLEASE, skip on down, skip on down the road!1)

1. Because, they march in lock step. |
|
If they carry the "R" they've already passed the only test.

The Repugs paint it like that. There are folks in the senate more liberal than Obama.

4. The media label anyone even slightly to the left of Mussolini |

as a liberal extremist. Here at DU, we know that is generally not the case, that most of the candidates the party proposes are quite centrist on most matters, even right of center on some.
Consider where the real center lies by majority opinion on single issue polls: the majority want us out of Iraq, want the health care system fixed, want CEO pay curtailed, want the rich taxed commensurate with their benefits, want infrastructure repaired, want offshoring of US jobs and whole industries stopped, and want the corporate to answer for their actions. The center is also pro choice.
When you take that into account, where the true center is, you begin to see the problem with some Democratic candidates who have forgotten where the center lies.
That's the reason for the confusion. There is a great deal of difference between what we are told by official media and where the truth actually lies.
