The puppy tossing video was all over Youtube months ago. It's been taken down. Here's an update on the story.

Marine expelled, another punished over puppy video
By AUDREY McAVOY, Associated Press Writer

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

The Marine Corps on Wednesday said it was expelling one Marine and disciplining another for their roles in a video showing a Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff while on patrol in Iraq.

The 17-second video posted on YouTube drew sharp condemnation from animal rights groups when it came to light in March.

Here's the video if you haven't seen it. **Warning** it will make your blood pressure rise. http://inthespotlite.blogspot.com/2008/03/us-marine-throws-puppy-off-cliff-video.html

1. I'm not a member of an animal rights group
but I would not oppose tossing off a cliff as a suitable punishment for this piece of human waste.

I applaud the Marine Corps for seriously investigating this situation and dealing with it.

There were those who said the puppy was not real or that it was already dead.
Then they proceded to mock those of us who said the video was real.
Hope those people feel stupid now.

on edit:
The second Marine, Sgt. Crismarvin Banez Encarnacion also received unspecified "non-judicial" punishment.
My guess is, he was the senior non-commissioned officer in that group. So under the UCMJ, he is responsible for that situation.
It's a guess. I was in the army, so I'm not well versed on what Marine Corp protocol is on this situation.
In the army, the senior commissioned or non-commissioned officer is considered at fault for not trying to stop moron-motari.

4. Nothing in that story validates the puppy as being alive or real. The punishment was for
making the video.
