1. Attack his loony-tunes ideas instead. Ageism and age slurs don't fit what we stand for.
Same as slurs against any other physical characteristic.

6. When I was young, like maybe twelve or so,
my parents started warning me to never, ever, under any circumstances, ride in the car when my grandmother was driving. She was quite old by that point, and this was long before lasik surgery for cataracts. She wore glasses, but they were old, too, and she just couldn't see well. Her reactions were also shot. She shouldn't have been behind the wheel at all at that point.

I'm glad I wasn't in the car when she sideswiped the garbage truck.

Is it ageism? Perhaps. But you can't deny that McCain's age will definitely play a role in how able he is to execute the responsibilities of his office, if elected. I just don't fully trust that his body (not to mention, the country!) can take it. If that's ageism to some people, I'm sorry, but it's still a valid concern to me.

7. It's Unadulterated (But Sadly, Not Very Adult) Ageism
And I agree, it doesn't fit what progressives say they stand for.

It's just a cheap, juvenile, bogus slam.

I hope we're all grownups here and better than that. I pray we have MORE INTELLIGENT CRITICISMS OF HIM than his bad comb-over or his behavior conforming to some vapid generalization of a stereotypical senior person if we hope to win in November!!!

Attack the performance issues, the shaky platform, and ideological errors, and jettison the comments about the age.

Starting with the (tee-hee) "grandpa" stuff.

4. This is more of a pro McCain, anti MSM parody

Not really that funny, IMO.

However, I'm not against thinking about age. McCain doesn't seem to give a rat's ass whether he's capable of the job.

8. I eat dinner at 4:30pm as well.
So I don't think that the timing of one's meals itself is a big issue.
