That is what I heard some Republicans say a few years back. I bet the dumbasses were thinking that they would get their share of bushes war for oil profits.

I wonder how those same people are explaining the hight gas prices now.

I wonder if that was a common belief among some Republicans: That even if the WMD charges and the Al Quaida ties were lies, it would still be for the best of the common American to invade Iraq and take the oil.

edit: Thinking about it, one could say that it was really us who had their gas taken away and their ass kicked.
