Phones for Conyers & 1 other HJC member were not busy. Are these guys getting any pressure? |
|
Yesterday, I called my Congress-critter to vote Yes on the impeachment bill. They took my name and contact info. No surprises there.
Today, I called John Conyers office and the office of one other House Judiciary Committee member. I got through on the first try. They listened to what I said; made no comment; and asked for no personal information.
I expected the phones to be jammed with callers. I was surprised they weren't. Is the HJC going to sit on this? If the ease of contact is any indication of lack of pressure, my guess is you have heard the last of this until Kucinich is willing to stand up and be mocked again.
I wouldn't complain if someone had info to the contrary.

1. Well, if I can't get one response on DU, I doubt that Conyers feels a lot of pressure. n/t |

I also got on the first try to Conyers office, and unlike you, they asked for contact info, including phone number, which surprised me
