Take this story with oceans of salt...

Yesterday, Kathy posted a very interesting story link to CounterPunch's article regarding an alleged CIA whistle-blower, who made some astonishing allegations, not the least of which include that Halliburton personnel have been given access to high level CIA operations and are rigging no-bid contracts via backdoor programming. In fact, of all he allegations made by the alleged whistle-blower, the only one I find remotely probable are her allegations that the DOD created fraudulent contracts and purchased non-existing machinery from Bechtel.

After having read this piece, I started researching this woman and I must say that her credibility is less than zero for me. I suggest you research Arrigo for yourselves and see if you think she was in the Soviet Union as a "child-spy" at age 10. Yes, there is no question that MKULTRA was a real program, but there is also a whole lot of myth and even propaganda surrounding it too. Now, I don't know her motivation, but if I were holding alleged proof of massive corruption and fraud, I might simply keep that other stuff to myself. So either she is insane (which I tend to favor) or she is lying. There is of course a third possibility that she is a limited hangout in the event that someone should come across actual fixed contracts and such (which would be a given in this administration). I simply don't know. But I do not believe for a moment this woman is telling the truth or at least the real truth/full truth/whole truth.
