2. Husb2Sparkly, I regard them as a combination of common sense & outrage. |

It's hard to argue against common sense & not even Faux News could come up with a rebuke to any of Keith's commentaries. Keith knows there's a void in tv commentary pointing out the dangers of government-mishandling, & he provides it most eloquently. Thank God for Keith.

but I thought some of his rants against Hillary were over-the-top and divisive. Maybe now that the primaries are over he'll get back to being indignant over things that matter.

4. He is an equal opportunity ranter |
|
If you think his rants are going to stop just because he might talk about someone you like, you're wrong. He will rant about what ever he sees that he feels needs to be exposed to the light, on either side of the aisle, and that's as it should be. We can't complain when we get kicked for a misstep and revel when the other side gets kicked for like action.
No party is perfect and the only thing that will keep us all moving in a positive direction is discussion and sunlight.
Jon Stewart often takes the same kind of heat ... and once we get the people's house back, are you going to stop tuning in to that because sometimes the truth hurts?

5. I stand by what I said originally. |
|
I still like Keith ... I just think he got carried away a little bit with his outrage towards Hillary. The "special comments" lose their punch if they're trotted out at every little opportunity. Keith then becomes a caricature of himself and is less likely to be taken seriously. Better to save the comments for the truly egregious things, not just his particular angst at somebody's campaign tactics. His rants against Rumsfeld and Bush, for example, were right on target and well-deserved.
