What does "K & R" mean?

To kick is to leave a comment which sends your thread to the top of the page
If you get enough recs your thread will go to the greatest threads on the main page

n/t means No text

and eom means end of message

Both mean that the subject line is all you have to read, because the "message space" is empty.

The recommend indicates that you have clicked the little recommend link and K is for kicking the thread to the top of the forum. Every reply kicks the thread up. K&R indicates that you don't have anything to add at this time yet the thread is worthy of rising to the top.
