1. He will if we stick a pillowcase over his head and drug him for
the trip to gitmo! (works wonders with my mean old siamese for trips to the vet too;) )

5. Your cat goes willingly into his carrier?! Mine spreads all 4 legs plus claws, & yowls...
I finally learned to deceive Othello by cuddling him in my arms, then quickly swaddling him in a thick bath towel while hubby upended the carrier so I could slide the cat in fast, before one of his limbs could break free and spoil the plan. Age has slowed him down a bit though.

7. Dubya has always scared me, still does. He & Cheney are pathologically, criminally insane.
God knows what they will do before finally exiting Washington.

The childish ass display when he didn't get his way at the Supreme Court is just a taste.
He'll get increasingly ignorant through the summer trying to prove he's still important.
He'll get really dangerous when the moment comes to release the white house.
There's more than Junior to worry about.
Once the Republicans are sure they're going to burn in November, Cheney may decide to move up.
Imagine McCain already moved into the VP office by election day.
Obama's inauguration will be good.
But I wont feel safe until the military and bureaucracy are purged of every Bushnik.

14. but he will go free
Edited on Fri Jun-13-08 03:02 AM by Solly Mack
Just what came to me first thing...

he may not go quietly (scary thought) but he will go free (tragic thought)

:(

Such a deep sadness the thought brings

How anyone expects positive/needed change from a government that allows a war criminal executive to go free is beyond all sound reasoning

a government that allows a war criminal executive to go free is a government that will never be what the people need

Been enjoying your threads on the subject greatly, btw!

we need a truth and reconciliation commission over the last forty years

The last seven are just the logical culmination
