You could see it in his face. Look closely at video of him commenting. Liar's eyes. His disposition screamed that he was going to continue to do exactly what he's doing now.

1. He gets that petulant two-year old look on his face when
he's so pissed that he didn't get his way. No, I have no hope that he will follow the law of the land. Why would he start now.

2. US Guantanamo trials 'to proceed'
A key ruling by the US Supreme Court on Guantanamo detainees will not affect military trials of enemy combatants, the attorney general has said.

Michael Mukasey said he was disappointed with the court's decision to allow foreign suspects to challenge their detention in US civilian courts.

But he said the trials of "enemy combatants" due to be held at the naval facility in Cuba would proceed.

3. I don't expect to see a signing statement.
I do not believe he signed Habeas Corpus into law.

5. If you read the foreign press, that is exactly what he said.
Bush said he strongly disagreed with the decision - the third time the court has repudiated him on the detainees - and suggested he might seek yet another law to keep terror suspects locked up at the prison camp, even as his presidency winds down.

10. True, but the court has done more than anyone else in
standing up to him with that one ruling re-establishing the principle and foundation of western law. Democrats should take note.
