5. The Republicans Keep Us Safer Meme

What gets me is how Republicans claim we will be safer with Republicans in office even though 9/11 happened with a Republican in the White House, a Republican in the Governor's office, and a Republican in the Mayor's office. I think more Democratic candidates need to point that out more often. How are they going to keep us safer when the worst attack happened on their watch?
