Danger in the distance: A rotating supercell thunderstorm, the kind that spawns tornadoes, spins over the prairie behind an old barn near Palco, Kan.

2. That is a great photo!
That is the storm we all see but can never quite capture, usually because we either do not have a camera or we are running to take shelter. The setting is perfect. Thanks for sharing this. It is very appropriate considering what Kansas has been through this year.
