I didn't agree with a lot that you said or that you seemed to not know any female political pundits,
especially from the left but I'll miss you and I'm so sorry for your family. You went to early, Tim.
I was looking forward to you and your panel and the GE this year. Thanks for making me think. :(

I just posted this in another thread but when I was living in Germany for 3 1/2 years,I would watch Meet The Press every afternoon. That was the way I could up with the American Political scene. And it also gave me a piece of home especially when I was homesick. That show meant a lot to me during years.

4. Now what do I do on Sunday morning, with my coffee?
I'm curious who they'll replace him with on MTP now.

10. I think I am too old school ...
I am 27 and I am so jaded about things in our society right now.I don't like to be entertained all the time unless I am watching a movie or listening to music. What I am tryihng to say is that I like to think for myself,I don't need shock and awe.And the news media of today is nothing like the news media of yesterday.I don't think there will be anyone that could hold a mantle to old style news reporting.

it gave me the impetus to find out ALL the facts and reclaim the truth, in my own head, and a lot
on DU! :P The two (second) minute sounds bites suck!! That's a big part of the problem today with
Americans NOT knowing what's going on, imho!!

:hi:

8. Tim will be missed.
I'm sure he led a great life, but he was still far too young to die.

MTP and the GE will not be the same with out him.

9. Speaking of family...
My Crazy ex-Girlfriend is good friends with his wife, Maureen, who is with Vanity Fair.

She used to come to Tiburon when she was in SF and have dinner at the house. A very cultured and kind woman.

She even likes my songs.

I never met Russert, but Crazy spent a good bit of time with them while in NYC. Called me, all upset, a few minutes ago.

14. I think she is on the way...
to JFK.

She and Mo are really close.

I have never heard her so upset, and we were together for seven years. Thru thick and thin.

She once told me that Russert was one of the sweetest, gentlest persons she had ever known.
