Please keep Maureen and especially Luke and Russ in your thoughts.......
I'm not particularly religious but please pray for and/or send positive thoughts full of peace and light toward Tim Russert's family. May they find peace and love. I can't imagine how difficult this is for them. They need all the positive energy that they can get.

I'm still in a daze 3 hours later. I can't believe it. Horrible.

1. They're in my thoughts
Especially his son, all things considered.

5. My wacko ex-girlfriend is very close to Mo.
I have never heard her so upset.

She is on the way to JFK right now.

2. Yep. Been thinking about them all afternoon since I heard. I hate that
they must have still been in Europe when this happened. I can't imagine having to fly under these conditions.

4. Apparently the whole family had been in Italy celebrating Luke's
graduation, and Tim flew home last night or early this
morning.

3. I know. I'm still shocked and saddened. So sudden.
It just won't be the same.

6. I can't imagine losing someone like that
To have the person just be gone...

I'll be thinking of them.
