I miss "Weekly Remembrance" on the old Air America morning show, Morning Sedition, which had a segment hosted by fictional reporter/grief counselor, 'Mort Mortenson,' about recently deceased celebrities.
If that show were still around, I'm sure this would be the headline. Their best segment was when the lead singer of the 70s soft rock group, Bread, died, and they started out by saying, "the lead singer of Bread is toast."

David Gates was the lead singer of Bread. He is still very much among the quick. They must have meant Jimmy Griffin, who in 2005, as Rush would so charmingly put it, "assumed room temperature".
