JEFF BEIERMANN/THE WORLD-HERALD
Scout leader Jeff Baldwin hugs Scout Hal Emas, 13, as he moves down a line of tornado survivors at Thursday’s vigil at Omaha’s Memorial Park. Baldwin is course director at Pahuk Pride, the leadership training event that brought Scouts to the camp in Little Sioux, Iowa. Hal’s father, Eric, praised the leaders’ actions. “These were sharp leaders and they did it by the book,’’ Emas said.

I grew up in the Scouting program and while I do not support them for their anti-gay/Atheist stands I cant help but feel the pain that is so visible in that picture.

I wish them all well and healing.
