As if they can't do two things at the same time... they want us to believe they've got more important, solemnly noble acts to carry out before this Congress adjourns...

More important issues like finally immunizing telcos for wiretapping all of our communications?

More important issues like putting the final nails in the coffin of habeas corpus?

More important issues like continuing to fund to the obscene war in Iraq?

MAYBE if Congress were making giant strides for universal health CARE, ending the war or bringing back our Constitutional rights, there would be an argument that impeachment would get in the way of all the wonderful "progress" they're making.

But, they haven't made any progress. They continue to give Bush exactly what he asks for, and when they can't deliver, they redouble their efforts for the Bushies, not for us.

So, lets just put this bogus argument to rest -- there's nothing they are doing/have done/will do that merits pushing impeachment off the books. Introduce universal health CARE and we'll talk -- until then, they need to get to work.

--- the ones who are SUPPOSED TO BE ON OUR SIDE -- treat us like morons, it tends to anger us.

But, then, as a cynic, my opinion is that politicians can only be "trusted" to be and behave like politicians.

7. You'll love this one...

My Rep. Anna Eshoo, just can't stand that commercials are too loud! Therefore, the brilliant elected official (and I'm sorry, yes she's a Dem and yes I need to bash her here) has introduced a bill to muffle the tv commericals! Forget about Impeachment, forget about a zillion relevant issues, focus on this crap. I hope it includes a provision that mutes Faux "News" when it appears.....

We need to clean house on these Pelosi loving irrelevant ho hum "representatives." That is all.

don't like loud commercials, but non-stop fascist broadcasting is a-okay.

18. That's kind of the point.
Congress has shown that it's not capable of doing a helluva a lot.

So if I'm going to wish something gets done I'm putting universal health care ahead in line in front of impeachment+acquittal of a lame duck president. Or a sustainable energy policy ahead of impeachment. Or a more equitable tax system. Or efforts to end the war.
