Meet the Press this Sunday - Remembering Tim Russert - Barnicle, Carville, Fischer, Ifill, more.....
Just received the email on this Sunday's Meet the Press:

It will be a tribute to Remembering Tim Russert

Body of email follows:

We will devote the full hour to highlights of Tim's remarkable life and career on "Meet the Press" with a handful of people who were among those who knew and loved him best. Tom Brokaw will lead the special tribute to his friend and colleague. He will be joined by long-time Tim Russert friends Mike Barnicle, James Carville, Betsy Fischer, Gwen Ifill, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Mary Matalin and Maria Shriver.

Tim Russert was the longest serving moderator of "Meet the Press" -- taking over the helm of the program on December 8, 1991. The moderator chair will be empty this Sunday in his honor. Betsy Fischer is the executive producer of "Meet the Press." Michelle Jaconi and Rebecca Samuels are producers.

For those wishing to send condolences to the Russert family, please email Russert.Condolences@nbcuni.com.

"Meet the Press" is seen on the NBC Television Network from 9-10 a.m. ET in most markets. In Washington D.C. and New York City, the broadcast is seen from 10:30-11:30 a.m. ET.

3. Is Ed Schultz going to be on?
I may have been mistaken, but I thought those two were friends.

7. Will they have their pants down, masturbating each other while "remembering?"
Geez, enough already! Ordinary people are acting like Russert was a member of their own family. Get a clue. Russert didn't know you and he didn't care about you.

(The above comment, of course, does not apply to the celebrity-media crowd that gets passed around like whores on these Sunday gasbag fests. They're free to pump out hagiographies of themselves since, well, it's all about them.)

9. thanks for the heads up.
talk about overkill. i'm sorry the guy's dead but he was a talk show host fer cryin out loud! i wonder if the other sunday morning shows will be doing the same. i am sure face the nation will because bob schieffer has already been on msnbc with his remembrances.

i am afraid that the corporate media is really showing it's lack of perspective and it's propensity to distract with all this over-the-top coverage.
