Just an off-the-wall note about the Budweiser Clydesdale... I got to see the Bud team and some Belgian draft horses at the same time at our local fair.
The Belgians had a much more laid-back, easy-going temperament than that of the Clydesdales.
I think you'd want a fairly mellow temperament in such a HUGE horse. We're talking 6 feet at the shoulder, folks...and big, broad and deep to match. :wow::hide:
