Edited on Sat Jun-14-08 04:38 PM by mikelewis
I am appalled... APPALLED!!!!!! Obviously someone did not get the memo... Just let me reiterate for you traitors out there...
IMPEACHMENT IS OFF THE TABLE!!!!!
You shall not impeach this President... He is unimpeachable. Did anyone suck his dick? No? Then fuck off... he is not going to be impeached and we as Democrats will never agree to holding him to account for any clear crimes he and his cronies have committed. Stop Kucinich from embarrassing us by his relentless appeal to the rule and righteousness of Law. The Law is whatever Bush and those who benefit from his reign decide is the Law... that is the rule of law... you traitorous pukes... Bush is the law and we as Democrats have to defend him against any move by rogue Nazi appeasers to undermine his power. Anyone who does not agree with this is a traitor and should be harassed continuously and incessantly by true patriots. They should be mocked and scourged so that other so-called Democrats who are so fucking stupid and naive that they won't fall for this ignorant and traitorous course of action. Bush may have made mistakes... sure a handful of soldiers may have died... sure many have a few boo boo's... sure there was no real reason to attack Iraq... sure he's undermined the rule of law... sure he has fucked this country raw up the ass... but Impeachment? How dare you!!!!!!
This is Bush country and we as Democrats are here to defend this President from all enemies foreign and domestic!!!! How dare you attack our President.

2. In life, many things that should happen don't. Many things that should not happen do. |
|
Bush has done many things that should not have happened, but did. Impeachment is something that should happen, but will not. Throughout history, many men have done evil things and have gotten away with it. Bush certainly could get impeached, but it was highly unlike last year and even more so this year during an election year. Since we already know who his jury would be if he was impeached, it is a near certainty he would not be convicted just as Clinton was not convicted (for lying under oath--it wasn't why he lied, it was that he lied--just a present from Bill to the Republicans).
Come next January when Bush leaves office without being impeached there will be lots of exploding heads here at DU. The air is alive now with righteous indignation, with the attitude of those who want impeachment this very minute that those who do not agree have to be DINOs and that they hate the Constitution. That is the dividing line and they will accept no other point of view.

3. "it wasn't why he lied, it was that he lied" |

I hold no brief for Clinton (understatement of the year!), but it speaks ill of you when you repeat that meme.
Nobody is obliged to answer improper questions, or to tell the truth if they do. Sexual behavior is not part of the presidential job description. So any questions about it are completely inappropriate and deserve whatever answer or non-answer the victim wants to give.
