11. Actually, I've seen a squirrel take a tire right up it's ass...

it was pretty fucking traumatic. Happened to me several years ago. I was just walking down the street and boom, squirrel gets run over. Although, it was carrying a sign saying: "Get a brain morans..." so I think it might also have been a freeper. So no tears were shed by me or anyone else with half a brain!

12. I saw a dog get hit by a car. It was the worst moment of my life.

Well maybe not the worst, but close.

I was walking down a street and there was a dog running around. I noticed the dog, because you never know if it's going to charge you, but realized it wasn't much a threat. Then there was this car coming down the street (this street was pretty narrow, too, maybe the size of an alley), it was driven by some teenagers and wasn't going very fast. The dog ran past me and I remember thinking "the driver better watch for this dog," and bam, I hear the dog shriek, the car slam on its breaks and I turn around to see the dog stuck between the back tire of the car and the tire well. Oh my god, it was so horrible. The kid driver was beside himself and the owner of the dog ran out crying. The dog was dying right there. :(

I still get sick thinking about it.

A few days ago I picked up a flattened corpse of a possum (I didn't actually touch it, used tools instead) from the street, because someone asked me to. It smelled of death and I almost :puke: puked.

Soldiers probably smell similar death a lot, they must have stronger stomachs than I.

now, I have to confess, I've actually had to pull off the road and weep after I saw a dog hit by a car and die. I wasn't mad at the dog- I wasn't mad at the person who hit it, I was mad that we've created a world where we cannot travel from one place to another without putting ourselves and other beings at risk of death on such a continual basis.

friend was sitting by his side and wouldn't move. I get teary eyed just thinking about it know and christ it must have been 12 years ago and it wasn't even my dog....
