Waving with that smirk of his, he actually waited at the base of the steps to allow her to walk on first...what a gentleman! It's just revolting that he cannot CANNOT share with anyone at all whatsoever.

If I recall correctly, it was somewhat of a "whirlwind" romance, and they were married right away.

I must be old-fashioned, but I still like it when guys open the door for me and treat me with courtesy. Too bad Laura Bush doesn't think she deserves that.

15. Ever notice this contrast? Take a look at Barack and Michelle

and the obvious chemistry between the two of them and then ask yourself if you've ever seen one moment in the past 7+ years between George and Laura that is in any way comparable. I haven't. Even Bill and HIllary appear to have a closer connection. I can honestly say that I have never witnessed one moment between George and Laura Bush that showed genuine love and affection. Maybe it's just their public faces, but as a couple, there is no discernible emotion between the two of them.
